Clan beo is a small organisation made up of families collaborating together. Our strength comes from working together with people who share a vision for people living with the experience of disability living in their own home, among their own people, living a good life. We have worked with local authorities. parents and friends associations, advocacy groups, human services allies, community organisations, schools, local busineses, trade associations and regional development companies. Where we can help we will. There is nothing to lose from a conversation.
Collaboration with Trusted Allies
Clan Beo has been honored to be invited to collaborate with people in mainstream organisations that share our 'Good Life' values and objectives. These include mainstream businesses, schools, and local authorities working in our communities. The work here has always been about creating the conditions for one person to live well in ordinary places.
Our collaboration with people in organisations who offer services to people and their chosen family and friends is an ongoing exploration of whats right and respectful for the people they serve. What we bring to the table is an independent perspective, a willingness to listen and long experience and understanding of life affirming risk management.
Our proudest collaborations are with people in organisations with a strong family leadership ethos who push the boundaries for everyone else on the idea of what a good life looks like for those living with the experience of disability. We are thankful for the lessons they teach us and the less than obvious paths they invite us to take.
Our most challenging and exciting collaborations are with ordinary people in families. They are constant teachers, sources of inspiration and joy.
